It's not just human life that matters to us - October 9th, 2025

It's not just human life that matters to us. During the house fire that occurred on October 9th, several kittens were found. With some not looking like they had been fed for awhile, Chief Dix and his wife returned to the scene, was able to capture 6 of the kittens and transported them to the Homeless to Home Cat Sanctuary. Two other cats were able to avoid capture but live traps will be set so these two can be rescued as well.

Update: Over the past couple of days, we were successful in rescuing 4 more cats for a total of 10. Two of which went to residents of the district and the remaining were taken in by the Homeless to Home Cat Sanctuary and Rescue.
